China is a mix of the modern and traditional – with much of the online conversation being limited or directed by the government’s restrictions. Yet the Internet is growing vastly as a part of Chinese daily life and as more and more citizens transform into “netizens,” technology and social media is likely to become an even more indispensible part of how business gets done in China.

From your reading and research on China, highlight one key insight or finding that you felt was unique and interesting and discuss what implications it has for brands wanting to use social media to reach an audience in the Chinese market to promote their products or services.
